Monty Python’s New Song. Sort Of.

Back in 1989, Monty Python released an album called Monty Python Sings.  In preparation for their reunion shows this summer, they’re compiling a new record (well, nearly new) called Monty Python Sings (Again) featuring tracks from that first album plus six new ones.

One of the new(ish) tracks is entitled “Lousy Song” which was originally recorded for their 1980 release, Monty Python’s Contractual Obligation Album but didn’t use because…well, because it was lousy. Truly and honestly awful.

Diffuser.fm posted this video of people getting a sneak peak or this new–well, sort of new–Python song featuring Eric Idle and the late Graham Chapman.
