More Music from the Inbox, 07 August 2013: Kyle Andrews, Tylan, David Liversidge and More

By Larry Lootsteen

Artist: Kyle Andrews, “Crystal Ball”

Album: Brighter Than The Sun

Once in a while you find some catchy beats that just hit home.  Album is worth a few minutes of your time.  Check it out.

Sounds like:  A touch of the funk!

Artist: Tylan , “Love Then”

Album: One True Thing

This great voice out of Georgia really hits the heart and hits it hard…this track features Amy Ray of Indigo Girls.

Sounds like:  An old soul in a young sound

Artist: David Liversidge, “Art Cafe”

Album: Toast

The tempered high of this song is what I love.  The guitar brings it down from pure sugar so you can feel it.

Sounds like:  A touch of that 60’s joy…

Artist: The Sherlocks, “Keep Me Hanging”

Album: N/A

The Sherlocks are based in Sheffield in the UK an working hard to bring it…

Sounds like:  A bit of a punk-pop crossover…

Artist: Tonight We Fight, “Thought You Should Know”

Album:  Table for Two

These guys are real punks based out of Las Vegas.  This song’s opening was a beautiful antithesis to their sound.  Love it!

Sounds like:  That cry in the night we all do and never admit.

Artist: Mark Pritchard, “Ghosts

Album: Ghosts

Some beautiful effects from an amazing Sydney, Australia based musician!

Sounds like:  A bit of Kraftwerk meets NIN
