Today’s the day we will (probably) find out who is the new drummer for the Foo Fighters

We’re just a few days from the band’s first proper headliner gig since the death of Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters have released another single from the upcoming album, But Here We Are (due June 2). Who played drums on this song? No idea.

The Foos have also announced a “global streaming event” today, starting at 3pm EDT through Veeps.com direct from the band’s 606 Studios HQ in Van Nuys, California. “The event will feature debut performances of new songs, behind-the-scenes footage & a few surprises.”

Like what, do you suppose? Who has Josh Freese as the new drummer? (Here’s why that may be the case.) And what does the sandwich in this poster mean?

  • The sandwich because it’s a “lunchtime” show in LA.
