The Music Doc I Helped Write Is Now on HBO Canada
A couple of years ago, I was hired to be the story editor for a documentary on Arthur Fogel, the Hamilton boy who has rise to the level of the most powerful music promoter in the world. The Hollywood premiere of Who the F**k Is Arthur Fogel was held back in January (I literally bumped into Lady Gaga at the after-party at the Chateau Marmont).
After a last-last-last second delay–Lady Gaga offered to be interviewed for the film after it was completed–the documentary received is HBO Canada premiere Saturday night.
I think it’s really good. Watch for appearances by Bono and the rest of U2, Sting and the rest of the Police, Rush and reps from the camps of Neil Young, Madonna, Bowie, Depeche Mode and many, many more.
Pay particular section to the opening sequence. I’m rather proud of that.
