Music Expo returns to the GTA this September

[A heads-up from Elisa F.G. – AC]

What started as a road trip to Ottawa between two friends became a serious chat turned ‘great idea’ and soon after that the Canadian Music Expo was born. The formula for a successful ‘great idea’ often includes a road trip – the space and time away from a figurative or literal drawing board can sometimes be the space and time needed to birth brilliance. Stephen King needed inspiration for a book, he goes on a road trip… poof! King comes up with the creepiest piece of literature ever written – The Shining. (Please note – it takes much more than ‘Poof!’ to birth brilliance.)

The Living Arts Centre in Mississauga will be hosting the return of The Canadian Music Expo,

Saturday, September 16th 12:00pm to 4:00pm EST. The last Expo being virtual made it a little harder to showcase brands or expand ones network but this year music buffs, musicians, publicists, promoters, industry executives will all have a massive platform to mingle and connect! Whether exhibiting or sponsoring the expo is an open invitation and it is also knocking fifty bucks off for any early bird exhibitors that are ready to book a table, the expos early bird promo specials start at $145 for a short period of time. You even get three minutes of stage time to make any public announcements for your brand, use the code ‘GUHUZA’ to reserve a spot with the discount.

The Canadian Live Music Association and Canadian Music Week named Mississauga the 2023 Music City of the Year and with the city’s commitment to support their music scene and artists, it made The Living Arts Centre the perfect venue for the event. Presented by Mississauga Music and Canadian Music Expo President Marc Belaiche, the expo promises a diverse audience and ample banner room for sponsors and exhibitors, who doesn’t love a good banner and booth?

Tickets are free and available here.
