Music Films at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

Okay, so it’s not as good as it was a couple of years ago when both U2 and Pearl Jam had documentaries premiering at TIFF, but there’s always an interesting selection of music-related movies on the schedule.

  • Love and Mercy: Based on the weird troubled genius that is Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.
  • Eden: A look at the French electronic music scene.
  • Whiplash: A drama following the life of a young jazz drummer.
  • Roger Waters The Wall: The Pink Floyd man’s restaging of the classic album.
