Music from Tool’s recording sessions caught on video?

Adam Jones, Tool’s guitarist, was working in the studio with his guitar tech, Tom. The clips–apparently Adam didn’t know the camera was rolling–may give us an idea of some of the sounds we may hear when Tool finally releases their new album.

Great. So when will this mythical album finally be available? Maynard tweeted a response to this question: “April 1st.”

Hah. Right. First of all, April 1, 2019, is a Monday. Most (but not all) new music is released on Fridays. Second, Tool has a thing about April Fool’s Day.

A new record is coming. One day. As of now, it’s been 12 years, 3 months, 6 days and counting…
