Our Music-Technology Event is Just around the Corner!
I hope you’ll join me at our second Music Technology event, on January 21st (click on the event poster below for details). All are welcome, regardless of their level of expertise in the Music and/or Technology industry. The event is free to attend — but you’ll need to RSVP (complimentary food, snacks, and drinks will be served, hence the need to RSVP.)
I’d like to thank our new partners, Vinylmnky, for helping us make this event possible. These guys are pretty cool — their mission is to share their love for new music by engaging and connecting listeners with the artists behind the music. Scroll down for more on Vinymnky.
We have also joined forces with Sheridan College and their M.A.S.S.I.V.E. (Music Applied to Stage, Screen, and Interactive Visual Environments) program. Check it out.
And thanks to our renewed partnership with Steam Whistle , we will have a few ice cold beers waiting for you at the event!
See you on the 21st!
Alan Cross
About Vinylmnky :
Vinymnky help to curate new music discovery though impactful and memorable mediums. Mediums which truly personalize the musical experience and facilitate a connection between the listener and artists such as Chet Faker, CHVRCHES, Robert DeLong, and BØRNS. Vinymnky works to achieve this goal through multiple methods. One is by delivering a Breakthrough Record of the Month (only vinyl of course) that includes a personal touch add-on from each artist to their membership base, each month. On top of the Breakthrough Record and artist add ons, Vinylmnky delivers quality reviews, artist spotlights, and artist interviews via their blog – creating an even deeper level of connection between the artists and their community. Finally, Vinylmnky stays connected with its Tribe by pushing curated content via its various social media outlets. Given the effort to personalize the music and connect with the artist through the right mediums, Vinylmnky is an excellent partner for the Music Technology Group and for any lover of new music and vinyl.
