Name of God by Mustafa wins the 2024 Prism Prize for Canadian Music Video of the Year

The Prism Prize is an annual award that honours the best artistry in music video production in Canada. The grand prize winner (named by a panel of music industry boffins) is Mustafa and “Name of God.” That’s worth $20,000 in cash. This is the second win for Mustafa who also won in 2022 for the video for “Ali.”

Other winners in this year’s Prism Prize include:

  • The Hi-Fidelity Award for innovation: Shy Kids
  • The Lipsett Award for a unique approach to music video art: Jessamine Yu Fok
  • The Special Achievement Award for exception contribution to music video art: Ethan Tobman
  • The Willie Dunn Award for the demonstration of excellence with in the music, music video and/or film production: TOBi.
