Need to Know Something About Bird Watching? Talk to July Talk Drummer Danny Miles

When your life is consumed with making and performing music, you need to be able to retreat into something non-musical so your creative energies can recharge. Some musicians paint (Bowie, Iggy), make sculptures (Dylan), race cars (Brian Johnson), magic (David Lovering of the Pixies) or cook (Action Bronson), all things far more healthy than, say, developing a heroin habit.

Danny Miles of July Talk also has a hobby. He likes bird-watching. Click on the image to hear him talk about woodpeckers.
