Need some motivation for exercise? Try the Metal Workout

When I get to pick the music for the gym, I always go for something loud, intense, and angry to get me into beast mode. (I know. Sounds impressive, right?) Rock and metal are excellent for workouts.

This brings me to Metal Workout, a brand new music-driven digital music service. Rather than sort through endless playlists on Spotify, Metal Workout skips right to heavy rock and metal, including flavours of thrash, death, and black metal. To make things even more authentic, the site has hired Trivium’s Matt Heafy and Mass Hysteria’s Yann Heurtaux as coaches.

At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be much material from the major label catalogues, but the people at the site’s French HQ are working on it.

Give it a shot here.
