Need Your B-757 Aircraft Serviced? Then Talk to Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson

All good Maiden fans know that Bruce is a certified commercial pilot with many thousands of hours flying heavy passenger planes. He’s also the chairman of an aviation repair business called Cardiff Aviation, which is headquartered out of an airfield at St. Athan in Wales.

All passenger aircraft have to undergo a series of scheduled maintenance denoted as A, B, and D checks. Since opening up for business nine months ago, the company has completed 43 of the various check, including 737s, 757s and A320s.

This is a massive facility, capable of working on four airliners at once with parking for 20 more aircraft on the apron.
