Cool!

New AI Mixtape Generator Creates Playlists Based on Nothing But Photos of You and Your Partner

The Black Tux is an online company that rents suits and (duh) tuxedos. They hired an AI outfit to develop a program that will create a 10-15 song Spotify playlist just by analyzing photos of you and your partner.

Using facial recognition and object classification routines, the program generates tags from photos you upload to their site after looking at the pictures for attributes like colour and shape. From that, the website fetches songs from Spotify it thinks it fits what it sees.

You can do it with your significant other, but it also works with pictures of anyone. What would a mixtape for Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen sound like? How about Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin?

If you feel like giving it a whirl, upload your photos and get an instant Couple’s Mixtape here.
