New Cochlear Implants Make for Better Music Listening

Cochlear implants are godsends for many people who would otherwise be deaf. The problem with current models, though, is that while they work very well in quiet environments, they don’t work very well where there’s more than one person speaking–and with music.

Devising implants that can allow deaf and hard-of-hearing people probably comprehend music is a huge challenge–but we’re getting there.  Listen to this from Futurity.org.
