New for the Tesla Model 3: A fart app. You read that correctly.

Tesla vehicles are both high-tech and quirky. Witness, for example, the Model X’s “celebration mode.”

Then there’s the navigation system that can be configured to simulate driving on Mars.

Over the weekend, a new software update was pushed to vehicles that allow owners to configure their Model 3 to fart in one of six, er, tones. They can be applied to things like the horn (of course) and the turn signals.

And for added spice, each of the sounds are named after various Elon Musk ventures. Drivers can choose from farts with names like Falcon Heavy (after a SpaceX rocket) and Ludicrous Fart (named after the insane acceleration model available in the high-end Model S). And before you ask, no there isn’t a “silent but deadly” mode because that would defeat the purpose, right?

Curious? Of course you are. Read more here.
