New Muse Video from The 2nd Law

The album is due on October 2.  Here’s a song that Matt Bellamy wrote after having a fight with his girlfriend, actress Kate Hudson.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who dislikes this song. Sounds half-baked to me

I am starting to feel like I'm the only person on the face of the earth that does like this song. It makes me feel the same way many of the songs off of Origin of Symmetry did. Also, I think it'll absolutely rock when performed live.

The song starts out well, with a nice, menacing slow boil. If it had a chorus it kicked into somewhere around 1:20-1:30, it would probably be great. But it just repeats itself, louder, and that doesn't cut it.

Interesting, since "Undisclosed Desires" on their last album was written for his girlfriend that he left in order to hook up with Kate Hudson…
