By: Juliette Jagger (@juliettejagger)
Artist: War Baby “No Generation”
Album:Death Sweats
Off of their recently released sophomore album, Death Sweats, “No Generation” from Vancouver noise rock outfit War Baby is just grimy and melodic enough to slip in somewhere between Nirvana’s “Drain You” and “Something In The Way.”

Artist: Kuroma “Gonna Get Cool”
Album:20 + Centuries
With perfect little uppity vintage pop melodies and the sort of give no fucks attitude that recalls Veruca Salt of yesteryear, “Gonna Get Cool” has these New Yorker’s sounding like they were pressed and dressed in the Valley and I’m into it.

Artist: Elephant Stone “The Devil’s Shelter” (Ft. Alex Maas)
Album: Single
Sounding like they split the difference on “Kill All Hippies” era Primal Scream and Rubber Soul era Beatles, Elephant Stone continue to impress with their latest single “The Devil’s Shelter.”

Artist: Sleeplust “Lies”
Album: Self-titled
From LA based synth-pop trio Sleeplust, “Lies” relishes in deep beats and wandering electronics that come rushing forth like a rapid current to deliver a message that’s hard to swallow.

Artist: Antoine93 “Me and The Sound”
Album: Single
If you can appreciate the appeal of Berlin’s longstanding and hedonistic clubbing culture then I defy you not to get hooked on Antoine93’s “Me and The Sound.” Seriously.
