A New (and Old) Way of Displaying Your Favourite Vinyl

Simon James of Standard Designs of London had a thought:  what if today’s greatest musicians had become writers of literature instead?  And what if their albums had actually been books?

His Etsy project re-imagines what this might have looked like sitting on a shelf.

Clever, no?  He’s also repurposed albums from Springsteen, Lou Reed, the Velvet Underground, The Smiths, Joy Division, The Stone Roses, Pink Floyd and many more.   You can see these prints at Standard Designs.
