New U2 Offer: A Private Show for Fans and Charity

We’re going to hear a lot from U2 this year: A new album (Songs of Experience), a new stadium tour (an announcement is coming any second) and a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the release of The Joshua Tree album. Looking to juice everything–including a boost for the AIDS charity (RED) and Omaze–the band has launched a new contest which will see two (2) fans sit in on a private rehearsal, airfare and accommodations included.

Take a look. The Edge may have a future in stand-up.
