New Vinyl Reissue Just in Time for Halloween

Aleister Crowley was one weird dude with his views on the occult, morality and sex. Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page was a fan.  You can find his picture on the cover of the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper album.  And Ozzy wrote a song about him.

Crowley was also a recording artist of sorts.  Back in the early 1900s, a collection of his material was recorded on some of them new-fangled wax cylinders before being reissued on 78 some years later.  Then in 1984, they were reissued through a series of labels–and then disappeared.

But now a label called Mr. Suit has released Original Wax Recordings on vinyl.  Here’s a sample.

This is the perfect thing to freak out people at your Halloween party. Just be aware that these incantations may have, er, unintended consequences. More details at FACT Magazine.
