Nickelback Has Become an Issue in the GOP Nomination Race
GOP nomination hopeful Ted Cruz–a man only mildly less scary that Donald Trump–doesn’t deny that he was born in Calgary. His mother, however, was a full-blown American citizen, meaning this made Ted an American, too. (Well, actually Canadian-American, but he renounced his Canadian citizenship 18 months ago.) Under the terms of the US Constitution, he’s clear to run for the presidency.
However, there are some people who believe that any president should be born within the born within the borders of the United States of America, so Ted’s hoser roots aren’t sitting well with them. When the Cruz bus pulled up to a campaign stop in Iowa, they were greeted by this man.

The guy has been showing up at other locations, too.
Meanwhile, Nickelback has made an appearance at a Donald J. Trump rally, too.

It’s okay to cheer Trump’s promise of banning Muslims but to suggest that he might like Nickelback is over the line? What’s wrong with people?
