No Tool Album, But Danny Carey Has Something New

No, there’s still no new Tool album on the horizon, but drummer Danny Carey will have something out later this month.

A new jazz-fusion outfit called Volto! (the nickname of guitarist John Ziegler, on lone from Pigmy Love Circus) will release Incitare on July 23.  The band also features bass player Lance Morrison who normally tours with Don Henley (!!!).

The album artwork has been created by Toolman Adam Jones while some of the production is created to Joe Baressi, who has worked plenty with Tool in the past.

Here’s a taste.  Hey, I like it.
