He's got some great points – particularly the part about itunes choosing which 30 seconds are played to sample a song. He obviously cares tremendously about what he produces and how it's digested by the public – definition of an artist really, like him or lump him 🙂
He makes some fair point, but I dont know. I have never bought an album or song based on a 30 second preview. Actually, I dont think I have ever listened to a 30 second preview period.
iTunes previews are 90 seconds now. Have been for awhile.
It's rubbish that technology is ruining music, it constantly reinvents how it's created and how it's accessed. I love it.
