Noel and Liam Gallagher Offered $11 Million to Reunite and…

…the answer is “no.”

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Noel and Liam Gallagher were offered £3 million each (about $5.5 million CAD) to play three gigs in London this summer.  After all, 2014 is the 20th anniversary of the release of Definitely Maybe.  The timing is perfect, right?

Good try, but it’s not going to happen.  Liam sounded like he was open to it, but Noel flatly refused.  Remember that he also refused a potential £20 million payday for a world tour along with a return to Knebworth, the scene of Oasis’ greatest concert triumph.

Nope. Noel is instead going to work on some remasters of old Oasis releases.
