Now That Black Sabbath is Done, Ozzy is Going to Open a Doggy Daycare

If you ever watched The Osbournes, you’ll know that the family loves their animals. That love is about to extended with a new doggy daycare facility on Ozzy and Sharon’s English estate. No, I’m not making this up.

A company called Positive Dogs, run by a trainer named Francesca Maddock, has filed for a change of use petition so that four acres of the Osbourne patch can be turned from a horse grazing area to a dog walking business. I quote from Music-News.com:

“The logic behind the new business is to create a central facility where dogs will be collected in the morning, spend the day in the countryside, in the safe and secure environment of the field, and then be dropped home at the end of the day,” a planning agent says. “This will reduce the amount of travel required throughout the day along with the risks associated with walking groups of dogs on local footpaths.”

“Dogs are currently walked in open spaces, parks and footpaths, normally in groups,” the planning agent adds. “This can be intimidating to other dog owners, cyclists, runners, young mothers with prams and children.”

The petition goes on to say that the doggy daycare centre will be open eight hours a day and will look up after 30 dogs at a time. So far, there are no objections from the neighbours.
