Oasis adds to their giant offering of reunion merch with a coffee table book that will weigh as much as an SUV.
My sources told me that the Oasis reunion tour was in the works for at least a year before the announcement was made in August 2024. Why did everyone have to start planning in 2023? Because the people behind the tour wanted to blow this thing up into an international cultural phenomenon. Sure, the logistics of the gigs had to be sorted, but all the merch and ancillary projects had to be sourced and organized.
Like what? Concert films, documentaries, streaming rights, live albums, and, of course, oodles of photography.
From the second the reunion was announced, photographers and videographers leapt into action. The first product of that is OASIS LIVE ’25 OPUS, a coffee table book put together by rock photographer Simon Emmett. Most of the official tour photos we’ve seen since the tour began were shot by him.
A limited Marquee Edition of OASIS LIVE ’25 OPUS will be limited to just 100 copies for the planet. It’s big, too (62 cm by 45 cm) so you’d better have a coffee table the size of a football pitch. It will contain 400(!!!) pages printed in “ultra-high-definition” on “luxury heavyweight 200 gm silk paper” and the hand-bound by master bookbinders. Oh, it will also come in a “silk-covered clamshell case.” Jeezus, this thing is gonna weigh a ton.

There will be three other editions for the peasantry. The “Midi” and “Retail” versions won’t be limited to a number.
Prices? No idea. More details coming soon.
