Oasis’ music is returning to Canada streaming services

Last week I was alerted by a reader that almost all Oasis music had disappeared from almost all the streaming music services in Canada including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and a few others. Outside of a few EPs and one-off singles, all the albums were gone.

That seemed weird so I started making inquiries. I finally uncovered something yesterday.

I’ve been told that there was a “weird system error” that required intervention. Songs are now being restored.

If I hear anything else, I’ll let you know.

  • I was hoping it was to make room for the John Squire / Liam Gallagher collaboration!

  • So what we’ve learned is that the AI ghost in the machine isn’t a fan of Oasis in the same way that kids with pet dogs aren’t fans of steamed peas.
