It’s Official: Tragically Hip Doc Will Premiere at TIFF

While the Toronto International Film Festival won’t get to screen the new Bladerunner movie, it has secured the premiere for Long Time Running, the Tragically Hip documentary shot on last year’s Man Machine Poem. tour. Screening times and dates haven’t been announced yet, so all I can tell you is that the film will run sometime between September 7 and 17. Thanks, right?

If you haven’t heard about the doc yet, it was produced by the guys at Banger Films (Beyond the Lighted Stage, Super Duper Alice Cooper, the Headbanger’s Journey films, etc.) and follows the Hip through last year’s tour, both out front and behind the scenes. Here’s the trailer.
