Okay,So the Super Bowl Halftime Show Isn’t Going to be ALL About Bruno Mars

I was nearly driven out of my mind watching the NFL playoffs on CTV last weekend because they kept playing that damn commercial with the Bruno Mars song in it.  (Was it just one advertiser? Or was someone else using the song? Or was I driven into some sort of hallucination?)

Between that and the McDonald’s “Whaaaaaaaaaaat?” spot, I had to be restrained from kicking in the big screen.

Whenever one of those Mars spots came on, I thought “THIS is what we’re going to have to endure for the Super Bowl halftime show this year?”

The answer is “yes”–but it’s also “not entirely.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will also appear at halftime.  They won’t have their own performance, but they will join Mars during his set to do…something.  And it was Mars who invited them.
