One in Five People Use Mobile Phone for Streaming Music

Well, those are the US numbers where streaming music services have higher market penetration than they do here in Canada.  But this is yet another indication that mobile access to music is the way things are going.

The study also says that US can expect to see double-digit growth over the next two years and by 2015, one-third of smartphone users will be using their devices to stream music. And with smartphones approaching 60% of market share, that number is just going keep going up and up.
