One of Ukraine’s biggest rock stars urges a united front against Putin

Unless you’re really plugged into Ukraine, you’ve probably never heard of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, but he’s one of the country’s biggest rock stars. He’s got more than a million Twitter followers and packs in crowds with his band, Okean Elzy, which translated as “Elza’s Ocean.”

As Putin’s troops rolled into his country, he gave an impromptu concert on a bridge in Kyiv. It’s pretty damn inspiring.
