Ongoing History Daily: A Secret Blur vs. Oasis Fact

One of the big rock rivalries was the one between Blur and Oasis at the height of Britpop in the middle 90s.  What started it?  No one has really ever said, although there are theories that he has to do with a woman.  Regardless, the legend of the feud lives on.

Years ago, Oasis bought a vintage mixing desk from a studio in Australia and had it sent back to England.  A producer was working at the studio at the time heard about this and as a joke, carved the word “Blur” on the inside.  The console was then boxed up and sent to England.

I wonder if the Gallaghers ever found out about this?
