Ongoing History Daily: Facts About Anthony of the Chili Peppers
A couple of things you might not know about Red Hot Chili Peppers’ singer Anthony Kiedis.
(1) His childhood playmate was Chastity Bono. Yes, Sonny and Cher’s daughter. Anthony’s dad was a bit-player Hollywood who mixed with the beautiful people.
(2) When he was a kid, Anthony and Flea used to break into peoples’ back yards so they could jump off the roof of the house into the pool. One time, Anthony overshot a pool and landed on the concrete deck. He broke his back–a couple of cracked vertebrae–but he managed to eventually heal.
And (3) Anthony is not very good with chili peppers. You know, the real ones. Real red chili peppers are too spicy and acidic for him and he gets all heart-burny and stuff. Am I the only one that finds things somewhat ironic?
