A couple of facts about Fun (actually “fun.”, but we’ll get to that).

(1) Their big break came with the song “We Are Young”—which was already growing into a hit—was featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Chevrolet. That ad also featured the band OK Go and Rob Dyrdek, the skateboard that now hosts the MTV show, Ridiculousness.

(2) Guitarist Jack Antonoff has gone on to form the band Bleachers—plus he’s produced for collaborated with Lorde, Taylor Switch, St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey, and others.

And (3), that silly period at the end of their name was added when a Swedish band called “Fun” complained that they had dibs on it.

Wednesday’s post included some interesting facts about which musicians suffer the worst hearing loss.
