Ongoing History Daily: Kings of Leon facts
Here are a few items about Kings of Leon that you might want to bring up in conversation sometime.
(1) Caleb Followill was referred to as “Rooster” by the road crew after the John Wayne character in the movie True Grit. That’s because he kept getting drunk and picking fights.
(2) All the members use their middle names. Otherwise, instead of Caleb, Jared, Nathan, and Matthew, we’d be calling them Anthony, Michael, Ivan, and Cameron.
And (3) Before each gig, they get together to sing a gospel song called “Just a Little Talk with Jesus.” It goes “Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning/And you know a little fire is burning/ You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.”
The last post was about how basketball almost derailed Twenty One Pilots.
