Ongoing History Daily: Real people featured in album cover art, part 2

Here are a few more examples of real people who grace the covers of famous albums.

  • The “Bee Girl” on Blind Melon’s debut record is Georgia Graham, the sister of drummer Glenn Graham. However, she’s not the girl in the “No Rain” video. That’s Heather DeLoach.
  • If we go back to the first Korn album, the little girl on the swing is Justine Ferrara. She got the gig because she was the niece of one of the executives at Korn’s record label.
  • How about the witch-like figure on the cover of Black Sabbath’s debut? Her name is Louisa Livingstone. The last I heard, she’s an electronic artist who goes by the name Indreba.
  • Who’s the beauty queen on the cover of Hole’s Live Through This? Leilani Bishop. She’s now the owner of a company called Bontanic Bazaar.

More next time.
