Ongoing History Daily: Sex tips from rock stars

Here’s a book from the shelf of reference works in my home office. It’s a 2010 book by Paul Miles entitled Sex Tips from Rock Stars—and it’s just like it sounds. Miles asked 23 different musicians for their thoughts on sex. The list includes Lemmy from Motorhead, Courtney Taylor-Taylor of the Dandy Warhols, Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal and Canada’s Danko Jones.

What do they talk about?

Fetishes and fantasies. One night stands. Lingerie. Safe sex. Ways to improve techniques. Groupies. Daring locations. And tools & toys. It’s part humour, part rock biography, and, yes, part self-help sex manual. Sex Tips from Rock Stars is still available from Omnibus Press.

Yesterday’s Ongoing History Daily post dealt with worn out rock’n’roll hips.
