Ongoing History Daily: Some fun facts about Matt Bellamy of Muse

Here are a few things about Matt Bellamy of Muse that may have escaped your attention.

(1) He holds the world record for the greatest number of guitars smashed on a single tour. He killed 140 guitars on the Absolution tour back in 2004.

(2) He had a couple of cats. One was named Kim and the other was called Kanye.

(3) Speaking of animals, Matt owns around 160 sheep. Yes, when he’s not busy being a rock star, she’s a wannabe sheep farmer.

And (4) in an interview, he gave advice on how to hold the perfect orgy. The key, apparently, is silly hats. Once people put on silly hats, anything goes. Thanks for the tip, Matt.
