Ongoing History Daily: The Arctic Monkeys pop-up bar

Going on tour is exhausting. The travel, hotel rooms, bad food, lack of sleep—it can really take its toll. And then there’s the all the backstage boredom as you wait to go onstage. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun and just go with it.

The Arctic Monkeys take a pop-up bar with them wherever they car. It’s a full pub in a flight case, that includes a fine selection of liquor and beer plus a lamp and a table so they can set up their own bar experience in any room anywhere in the world.

Their advice to every other band on the planet? Put together a portable bar for the road. You won’t regret it.
