Ongoing History Daily: Was THIS the end of Oasis?

There have been lots of stories about why Oasis broke up just before they were due on stage for a show in Paris in August 2009. Most suggest that it was Liam’s hot-headedness that messed everything up. But Noel has an alternate theory.

At the time, Liam was really getting into the clothing business with a fashion line called Pretty Green. Around the time of that final show, Liam gifted everyone in the band (including Noel) with some gear. But instead of Noel accepting the clothes, he immediately gave them away to a charity shop which displayed the clothes in the window. When Liam found out, he went ballistic. That happened about a month before the show in Paris.
