Last time, we looked at female alt-rock singers with unique and highly unusual voices who have nevertheless had a major impact on music. This week it’s the guys turn. Kings of Quirk will feature material from everyone from the drone-y Leonard Cohen to the yelpy Robert Smith. We’ll also need to look at bands like Sparks, the Darkness and the Talking Heads. And just wait until we get to Captain Beefheart and Klaus Nomi.
