The Ongoing History of New Music, Episode 776: Dave Grohl’s Moonlighting Projects

Dave Grohl doesn’t like sitting still. If he’s not doing something with the Foo Fighters, he’s off working with or for someone else. He loves making music so much, he’ll do it with just about anybody. This program tries to fill out items on Dave’s resume outside the Foo Fighters. And there’s a lot of ground to cover.

Songs included in this show:

Foo Fighters, Learn to Fly

Late!, Pokey the Little Puppy

Harlingtox AD, Treason Daddy Brother in Crime Real Patriotic Type Stuff

Nirvana, Marigold

Queens of the Stone Age, No One Knows (Live)

Probot, Shake Your Blood

Killing Joke, Seeing Red

Nine Inch Nails, Every Day is Exactly the Sam

Them Crooked Vultures, Mind Eraser No Chaser

Eric Wilhite has put together this Spotify playlist of Dave Grohl’s various moonlighting gigs.

The Ongoing History of New Music can be heard on the following stations:

We’re still looking for more affiliates in Calgary, Kamloops, Kelowna, Regina, Saskatoon, Brandon, Windsor,  Montreal, Charlottetown, Moncton, Fredericton, and St John’s and anywhere else with a transmitter. If you’re in any of those markets and you want the show, lemme know and I’ll see what I can do.
