Ongoing History of New Music Daily: YOU’RE FIRED!

What do the following musicians have in common: Scott Weiland, Jason Everman, and Scott Stapp? They were all fired by their bands.

Scott Weiland was turfed out of Stone Temple Pilots a couple of times before they finally gave up on him. Then he joined Velvet Revolver and after two albums, they fired him.

Scott Stapp went all loopy and got himself fired from Creed. He then joined a band called Art of Anarchy who not only fired him but also sued Stapp for $1.8 million.

And spare a thought for Jason Everman. He was briefly part of both Nirvana and Soundgarden as a guitarist before both bands exploded and managed to get fired from both over a combination of creative differences and attitude.
