Ongoing History: The healing power of Green Day

Everyone knows that music has the power to reach people on a deep emotional level.  Some people believe that the right music can reach coma patients.  It may have happened with Green Day.  A few years ago, Corey George, a nine-year-old boy, had fallen into a coma after being hit by a car.  The little guy was on life support for two weeks and the diagnosis was grim.

Then one day, his mother started playing his favourite album, American Idiot, in his hospital room.  Within an hour, Corey’s eyes were open, and he was showing movement in his extremities.  Four days later, they moved him out of intensive care.

Coincidence or genuine medical musical miracle?  You decide.
