Operas and Musicals from Weezer, NOFX and More

Item 1: Ever hear of Weezer’s Songs from the Black Hole sci-fi rock opera? It doesn’t really exist–yet it does.

Item 2: Fat Mike from NOFX has written Home Sweet Home, an American Idiot-like punk rock musical. Collaborating with him is is wife, Soma Snakeoil and the co-creator of the Broadway hit, Avenue Q. The live show is still a work in progress, but the original cast album will be out February 10. Guests include members of The Descendents, Mad Caddies, Lagwagon, Alkaline Trio and more. (Via CMU)
