Osheaga 2017 Lineup Announced

Montreal’s Osheaga festival has announced its lineup for the fest’s 2017 rendition, and it seems that spring showers do indeed bring summer flowers: with this year’s talent-drenched lineup, you can be sure that fans are preparing their flower crowns for the festival season.

Taking place in Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal from Aug 4-6, Osheaga’s 11th year boasts Muse, The Weeknd, and Lorde as headliners.

Other acts include southern soul-rockers Alabama Shakes, South African experimental hip-hop group Die Antwoord, Toronto fuzz-thrash Death From Above 1979, Australian indie darling Vance Joy, the stadium-stylings of Hamilton’s Arkells, and dozens more.

Check out the full listing on Osheaga’s website and be sure to refresh often, as additional acts are expected to be announced and artists may change. Given the flux we often see on the festival circuit, somebody might pull a Beyonce-esque Coachella changeup. Nothing seems to be on the horizon, but you never know.

Tickets for the three-day festival are available now at osheaga.com/en/passes, with general admission wristbands starting at $320. Gold and Platinum passes with added features such as private washrooms and VIP services are also available, at $585 and $1,150 respectively.

If the Montreal mood doesn’t suit your style, there are plenty other hot Canadian festivals that might catch your eye. Wayhome, Ottawa Bluesfest, and Amnesia Rockfest have all announced their 2017 lineups and other fests like Toronto’s NXNE, Guelph’s Hillside, Kingston’s Wolfe Island Music Festival, and many more await!
