Back in February 2025, Live Nation held a press conference at the future site of their upcoming venue HISTORY Ottawa. At that time, they announced that the venue would open in 2026.

And on Monday 23 March, Live Nation unveiled the first set of artists booked at the new venue in downtown Ottawa.
• The Wallflowers – Thursday, August 20
• Kaleo – Wednesday, September 9
• The Pretty Reckless – Sunday, September 13
• Sabaton – Saturday, September 26
• Two Door Cinema Club – Friday, October 2
• Bahamas – Wednesday, October 7
• Marianas Trench – Saturday, October 24
• Talk – Friday, December 4
• Wolf Parade – Friday, December 11
Tickets for all those shows will be available for sale starting on Friday, 27 March at 10am EDT at Ticketmaster,

HISTORY Ottawa will be located at 47 Rideau Street in the ByWard Market. The venue will draw parallels to the iconic Toronto location, which first opened in 2021 in collaboration with global music icon Drake.
The Ottawa venue is in a perfect location downtown: there are numerous restaurants, hotels, parking, and a transit stop directly across the street. This concert venue has the potential to genuinely revitalise downtown Ottawa and bring more world-class artists to town.

It’s time for Ottawa to finally shake off that “sleepy government town” moniker!
And HISTORY Ottawa will come with some experience at the helm. Bronwyn Campbell has been named General Manager of the new 2,000 capacity venue. She joins the HISTORY team from the iconic Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, where she served as general manager for 11 years, overseeing all operations of concerts and special events. With 18 years in venue management, Campbell will lend her expertise to the development of HISTORY Ottawa’s culture and fan experience.
“I’m thrilled to be leading the HISTORY Ottawa team,” says Campbell. “Bringing this venue to life is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to building a team that cares deeply about creating a space that both fans and artists love coming back to. Ottawa is known to have some of the most passionate music fans in the country, and we can’t wait to welcome them and make HISTORY feel like home – building on everything that’s made our Toronto venue so special.”
Additionally, Rob Feller joins the team as Senior Operations Manager – overseeing venue operations. No stranger to the nation’s capital, Feller spent his formative teenage years in Ottawa attending shows across the city. Feller also comes from the Commodore Ballroom, where he managed the Box Office and led the venue’s premium services team. Feller brings more than 12 years of experience in the live music industry.
