Our Man in Space Performs Bowie’s “Space Oddity”

Well, about time that someone who really understands Major Tom did this.  And has there been a better astronaut ambassador in recent memory better than our man, ISS Commander Chris Hadfield?  He returns to Earth today.

    I wasn't expecting much from this video of Bowie's " Space Oddity " but to my surprise i found it oddly touching. I think it even brought a tear to my eye. Put this video next to Bowie's original – it belongs there.

    This video gives the song a whole new perspective. I'll think of this video and the images – and not Ziggy Stardust – when I hear it played. Well done.
