Ozzy to Release Memoirs of a Madman

Yes, we have reason to suspect that after a lifetime of drugs, alcohol, snorting ants and biting the heads of bats, that Ozzy Osbourne may have lost a few brain cells on the way.  That, however, didn’t stop him from writing down his life story–what he remembers of it, anyway–in I Am Ozzy a few years back.

The follow-up to that–sort of–is Memoirs of a Madman, a single CD/two DVD/180 vinyl set scheduled to appear in stores just in time for the Christmas shopping seasons.  Because, you know, nothing says “Christmas” quite like the gift of Ozzy.

Audio-wise, the collection features all of Ozzy’s biggest hits reaching back to 1980’s Blizzard of Ozz while the DVDs focus on his music videos and some long-lost live performances, including footage from MTV, OzzFest and in the studio.
