Would you pay $150,000 to see the Foo Fighters?

Dave Grohl, The Nicest Man in Rock™, is a big supporter of the Children’s Hospital in Oakland. As part of a fundraiser called Notes & Words, Dave is going to perform a special acoustic set at the Fox Theatre in Oakland on May 12.

Dave is all for raising money for a children’s hospital that offers care regardless of a family’s ability to pay. (God bless America’s health care system, right?) The institution provides standard healthcare plus music therapy, therapy dog visits, art classes, massage and much, much more.

Sounds like a great gig, right? Most certainly. But the prices are, er, steep. This is from Alternative Press.
